一卷之始Where the Scroll Begins

北宋末年，
十八岁的天才画家怀着尚不知收束的雄心，
留下了《千里江山图》。
此后，
他的行迹几乎无从追寻。
蔡京在卷后题跋中写下“希孟”二字，
使这个名字得以传于后世;
名字之外的人生，
却从此沉入史料的空白。

《只此青绿》从今天的一次展卷开始。
面对长卷的故宫博物院研究员，
沿着绢、笔、墨、矿石与印章，
走向画面背后更辽阔的时间，
也走向那些没有进入画史的劳动者。

舞台往返于两种时间：
一边，是被保存下来的作品；
一边，是再也无法追回的人。
它不替历史补写传记，
只让一件作品如何诞生、如何被珍藏，
又如何穿过九百多年的时间，重新来到我们面前—— 不只被看见，也重新被感受。

Near the end of the Northern Song, an eighteen-year-old prodigy, his ambition not yet taught its limits, left behind A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains. After that, he almost disappears from the record. In the colophon at the end of the scroll, Cai Jing wrote the two characters “Ximeng,” and the name endured; the life beyond that name sank into the blank spaces of the record.

The Journey begins with a scroll unfurled in the present day. Facing the long scroll, a researcher at the Palace Museum follows silk, brush, ink, mineral pigments and seals into the wider time behind the image, and toward the labourers who never entered the history of painting.

The stage moves between two kinds of time: on one side, the work that has been preserved; on the other, those whom time cannot give back. It does not write in the life that history left blank. It lets a work reveal how it came into being, how it was preserved, and how, after more than nine centuries, it comes before us again— not only to be seen, but to be felt anew.

一位今天的故宫博物院研究员，一位北宋少年画家，一个从《千里江山图》的青绿山色与山势中生出的舞台形象——青绿。他们不属于同一个时代，却在同一幅画前相遇。九十秒，先认识这场相遇。 A present-day researcher at the Palace Museum. A young painter from the Northern Song. And Qinglü — a figure born on stage from the blue-green mountains and their forms in A Thousand Li of Rivers and Mountains. They belong to different times, yet meet before the same painting. 周莉亚与韩真建立舞台的秩序，让一卷山水有了重新展开的方式；孟庆旸让“青绿”离开画面，获得身体；张翰走进画者的时间，靠近那个只留下名字的少年；谢素豪从今日展卷，让过去与此刻，在同一幅画前相遇。 Zhou Liya and Han Zhen give the stage its order, allowing the landscape to unfold anew; Meng Qingyang lets Qinglü step out of the painting and take on a body; Zhang Han enters the painter’s time, drawing closer to the young man whose name is almost all that remains; Xie Suhao unfurls the scroll from the present, bringing past and present together before the same painting.
